Last night, the UK Government added 16 new countries to the green list of countries that you can visit without quarantining, when you arrive home. This is long-awaited news to many clients wishing to fly privately this summer.
G6 AVIATION private jet hire requests have increased over 350% in the last 12 hours, and we anticipate an extremely busy summer due to the expansion of the government’s green list.

The updated green list comes into action from 4am Wednesday 30th June. Any passengers returning to England from these new destinations will need to follow the amber list rules.
Some of the new countries added to the list include Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca, Madeira, and Malta, which has the highest vaccination rate in Europe.
Caribbean countries such as Barbados, Antigua, The British Virgin Islands, Bermuda, and the Caicos Islands have also been added.
Also, it been confirmed that from early August fully vaccinated British citizens will be able to travel to amber listed destinations, without having to quarantine on return to the UK. The outline of the plan states that passengers will only be required to take one PCR test, rather than the current two. There are still issues to be resolved but this is a step in the right direction.
There are many advantages to hiring a private jet and it could be the best decision you make regarding your travel arrangements this summer!
With exclusive access to VIP private terminals, long queues on return to the UK will be avoided, providing the ultimate experience in social distancing. You will be able to walk directly onto the aircraft stress free and have complete peace of mind.
